For South Florida I would say that is definitely reasonable. I am in Central Florida and all the photographers I am looking at are between $2,000 and $3,200 and some of those dont include an engagement session! If you love her work and already know that you work well with her then I think you should definitely go for it!!!

If that’s what you’re looking for and you like the work and personality, then it’s a steal.

@abdnguess:  Welcome to the WB! I’m from South Florida too and it was a mission to find a reasonable photog for the wedding. I agree with thereadhead, your package seems very reasonable and if you really like her work and work well together then go for it, MY Fiance and I found a photog just below $2,000 and she included an e-shoot, two photogs, printing rights, about 6 hours of wedding coverage, album, and a hi-res disc. We didn’t go with choose that photog because the lack of chemistry between us. We went with another photog who is a sweetheart and her work is amazing.

Hi, I’m not in South Florida, so it’s hard for me to be able to say what’s reasonable or not, but it seems odd that a photographer would limit the number of images you would have rights to (25) or the number that would be in a gallery (600). I guess that’s something that I’m not used to. I absolutely love our photographer. He includes everything that you have listed with unlimited shooting time and images displayed. We also got full rights to all of our e-pics. His price is approximately 1850. Again, I’m not familiar with Florida. But, again, depending on your budget and relationship with the photographer, it seems like you found something really special.

As a budget bride I searched high and low for an awesome photographer that would work with my budget. I live in SoCal, most of the photographers I found were around $1700 to $3500 forwhat I wanted. I was about to give up and just pay $2000 for a photog. I have a friend who is getting married 3 weeks after me and she found a photog who would give us both a good rate if we both signed contracts with her. We each got an engagement session, 6 hours of day iof unlimited shots, all pictures edited, all pictures on disc with unlimited Reproduction rights, a CD photo montage, photo book, big framed pic and 2 photogs for the day. Once I saw her pics I was in love. She had great use of light and angles. Her style was exactly what I was looking for. I decided I would get the package even before she made us a deal of $1000 total! WOW so worth it. I couldn’t believe how lucky we got. So you just need to shop around and be real about your budget. Be honest with the photographer about your budget and how  much you want to spend and they try their best to work with what you got.
