@hazeljayne:  Your budget is your budget! Don’t let anyone guilt you into feeling bad about it. It’s the memories with the day, not the money involved that truly matter.

@hazeljayne:  There is nothing wrong with your budget. That is my buget also and I have managed to find some really awesome photographers in that price range. What one of the photogs I met with advised me to do was look for the photographers who just do this as a side job and do not have a studio. No studio means lower prices.

We used Atlas Wedding Photography. We did a half day for under $2000. She is amazing and she brings an assistant.

@hazeljayne:  she is very nice, too. We met with her but booked elsewhere…however, she was very down to earth and very upfront.

Have you checked out: Diya Studios — My friend Angela is using them early next year.. I know about them because I saw her engagement pictures..

Their website says,

“Our photography coverage for weddings start at $1,100 and complete packages start at $1,700.” (unlimited coverage)

I’m not sure how far they are from you but they service your Philadelphia area, so I wouldn’t be sure if travel rates apply.

I’m using Clair Pruitt photography and have two shooters, plus extended time, and an extra assistant for around $2900 so I’m sure they could work with $2000. I saw them do a friends wedding and fell in love and so far we’ve had our e-pics done by them and loveeee them! They have several photographers but Laura is amazing!!
