Hi ladies 🙂
I am getting married May of 2014, and my fiance and I chose to get married in an intimate, diy-inspired ceremony in Las Vegas, NV. We are from Wisconsin, but have visited Las Vegas and LOVE it! My guy’s brother and wife moved there this past year so it’s sooo nice to have someone there we know.
We are looking to get married at the Bellagio, but aren’t too keen on their photographer packages. I am a photographer in Wisconsin; but of course, cannot take my own photos!
Does anyone have any suggestions for photographers? We are looking for CD-only (no prints, books, etc.).
Also, do any of you bees know of a good downloadable wedding planner designed for destination weddings?
Any help is much appreciated!

I know where you are coming from when it comes to “Cant take our own photos” My Fi and I are pro photographers here in Vegas. We can’t take our photos either!! There are some great photographers out here. They are very pricey for sure!!! My Fi and I are actually going to AI which is where we graduated from the Art Institute of Las Vegas to get our photographer. We actually like to have a fresh eye and a beginner. IF there is anything I can help you with please message me I will help you the best I can 🙂

I am not sure if the Bellagio will actually allow you to have an outside photographer- I think you are stuck with using their in-house. And if they do allow it then there is usually a nasty fee involved.
My suggestion would be to go with the photographer that is included in your package for the ceremony and then hire another photographer for outside photos.
We used Todd from Bentley & Wilson and were extremely happy with the photos and service but others are Mike L Photgraphy, Deacon Tyler, Dott photography and mindy bean.

Thanks everyone! It’s much appreciated! And I actually cut a deal with the Bellagio and negotiated our package. They took out the cost of the photographer since I booked my 65 guest rooms there, reception and ceremony. It was a pull-situation, I’m coming alllll the way from Wisconsin, and if they didn’t chisel off their photographer, I was going elsewhere. They took it off. 🙂
