@jennygrl070 if that is your real date then you probably will have a chance to get someone who charges much more, IF they are available. If I wasn’t booked three weeks out and got an inquire for a few hours and the files. Culled {no crap photos} but not edited then I would probably take it for what I like to call extra cash jobs. These are just last min jobs that put a little dough in my pocket.

I found my photographer after posting on Facebook, and got a referral. She graduated OSU with a degree in photojournalism and works at a local newspaper. Only charging $30/hr for photos & $30/ hr for editing. I’m so excited to get a deal and have someone with the experience. So ask around and check local colleges.

@Rangergrl:  has she ever shot a wedding before? That seems alarmingly cheap. Unless she plans to charge you for 40 or so hours of editing time

I’m on LI and found a vetted photog with a CD only package for less than 10k. Keep looking.
