I am going to let all my maids (4 right now w/ no MOH; considering adding a 5th but no decision yet) choose their own dress – some shade of knee-length chocolate brown number is all I ask.
In lieu of flowers I am thinking about getting everyone clutches from etsy.com to carry down the aisle, but I am afraid they will be awkward to hold and will just look goofy in photos.
Did you do this at your wedding or have any pics of weddings w/ bridesmaids holding clutches, so I can see if it looks wonky??
Thanks in advance 🙂

My sister in-law did for her wedding…
We also had 1 rose each, but it is not in this photo.

I just googled, and got these. My BMs will be carrying fans. 🙂

@Alli259: Wow! You guys actually do NOT look super awkward! I love this.
@AmeliaBedelia: Google be damned. Ha, I actually get really annoyed when people ask questions that could be easily answered by Google, but of course I am guilty too. The reason I put a shout-out on the Bee is I’m hoping to find some not-super-professional shots of people acting more natural, whereas on Google I always find photographers’ portfolio shots of really chic hipsters who are so self-conscious they always manage to look good. Does that make sense?
And lord help me, I am not a super-chic hipster.

@CharlotteMJ: I totally agree. That’s why I find it good to post on here sometimes. We all loved our clutches at my sister-in-laws wedding. I think it was a great idea and we all get to use them afterwards instead of flowers that die.
