Did you also look at the shapes tool? There are some shapes that you could also use, and they are easier to manage than brushes.

Do you also have Illustrator? There are a lot of brushes, shapes and designs there.

@DizzyDaffodil: welcome! Also, despite what most people think, Photoshop CAN be used for postcards and things like that. It’s just not as easy/possible to make it a rasterized image that can be enlarged easily.
I typically do a lot of artwork that doesn’t need to be used as a template and when I DO have to do other stuff (flyers, inserts, etc) I use Illustrator. I know, I know, I should use Illustrator and InDesign more, but… I’m an artist! LOL!
Just make certain you use the templates provided and follow the guidelines and you should be fine.

I use Photoshop all the time, I actually have a small design shop doing Wedding Invites, Save-the-Dates, Baby Announcements, Recipe Cards, etc… and I adore Photoshop. I know I should use InDesign a lot more, but I just know Photoshop better and always stick to Photoshop π
I’m just having a terrible time finding a brush/shape of the cute retro like styling like in the pics above that I can picture for our invites…

@DizzyDaffodil: I am soooo glad I’m not the only one! It took FOREVER for me to get the design down that I wanted for our invites and RSVP cards. Also had to make my own design from two different brushes, lol. THAT was fun! (no, really, it was fun making it! lol)
I’m gonna try uploading two brushes here, and I also sent you and email…
Enjoy!!!

@DizzyDaffodil: most welcome!!! I hope you can use them!!! I LOVE playing with brushes in photoshop. My invites/RSVP cards are done using brushes and text. (despite wanting to use some of my own digital art, lol)
