I’ve used it– if you’re totally unfamiliar with it you’ll need to get Elements for Dummies- it is definitely not user friendly or intuitive. That is how I learned. Also you can google tutorials if you’re looking to do something speciifc- ie, airbrush skin, add flash, oversaturate colors, etc.

I find that the Microsoft Digital Image Suite is good too.

Are you looking for advice for anything specific?

@PitBulLover: it’s really similar, i use CS5 tutorials all the time for photoshop. Some of the instructions are slightly different but you shouldn’t really hav ea problem.

check out Adobe.tv – they have all kinds of useful tutorials. That’s basically how I learned photoshop – I just googled what I wanted to do and went through the adobe.tv tutorials.

My main advice is learn how to use actions and you’re set for life.  Your editing will take you a quarter or less of the time with actions than it would if you edited each one separately by hand.

What actions are, are layers all flattened together and saved so the same effect can be applied to other pictures.

This is my savior site:  http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/p/coffeeshop-actions-and-presets.html
