Hey friends,
I’m just curious about altering this neckline bc I have small breasts and in wedding dresses they seem to disappear altogether! I’m wondering how this dress would look as a scoop neck?
I think that would show off my girls a little more rather than having them completely disappear!
Thanks!

I suck at photoshop, but think that the cut is flattering. Once it is in the right size (looks like this was too big?) you should be better. If anything I think maybe just taking a bit of the fabric off at the highest points on the bustline? Like, imagine if you just rolled it down/tucked it in a little? Not even sure if I’m making sense, hopefully you know what I mean! I just think that the actual shape is nice, just too much fabric!

thanks – yes it was too big.. I’m hoping (if I order this dress) that when it’s my actual size it would hug my curves more and make me look more hour glass… and I was thinking about lowering the bust line too bc I hate when you can tell the dress is too big in the chest for a girl, when you know the gown is preshaped for the bust, you know what I mean? I want it to be sexy and show a bit of my chest, but not in a slutty way, if you know what I mean lol

@MrsPhilly: Definately! I think it is more of a fit issue than having to reconstruct the neckline or alter it completely! Looks pretty on your know as is though!

Here’s what I came up with. I lowered the neckline about an inch and a half and made it a scoop.

@michiru4ever: oooh thank you!!! I do like that!! It even just gives a better idea of what it would look like if I just had it lowered a bit more to fit me. Thanks so much!

I think it will look nice once the dress is ordered in your size. It’s definitely too big on you. he neckline will be lower too.

I hope so! It wasn’t pulled as tight as it probably could’ve been either. Other dresses I’ve tried on, when pulled TIGHT, make me look super hour glass, but I think this one just wasn’t clipped or pulled tight enough. You think in the right size, it would do that? and hopefully be tighter over my hips too!!! I posted a thread about this dress, hoping other brides who’ve tried it on will share their photos too!!!
