Ok, dumbest question ever, but I’m trying to figure out Photoshop. I have the CS4 version. I’m wondering how I can view my layers…
I need to select different layers to work with and I can never figure out where to see all the different layers on a toolbar at once.
So write now I’m working on one layer. How can I switch to get to a previous layer?

To open the layers palette, go to the top tool bar…hover and click over WINDOW > then go down to “Layers”. The Layers palette will pop up and you can “hide” or “see” your various layers. The arrow at the right of the palette (the fly out) will open up a menu where you can add and edit layers.

Go up to Window, click on Layers, then your layers should pop up on the bottom right corner of your screen. You can then click on what layer you want to go to

Thanks! That did the trick. Seems like it was in such an obscure place! They couldn’t have put it under the tabs marked “View” or “Layer”, huh?

yeah, it’s annoying that it’s under windows (and not view).
