soexcited123 : Your parents must be my age. We used “lit” or “lit up” in high school to mean soemone was drunk or stoned; I still use it in that context, too. I didn’t even know the term took on a new meaning until I saw your post.

sweetdee89 : I too thought netflex and chill meant watching tv and relaxing….
What on earth does it really mean then?

Oh my lord, in my times on a few writing sites I am on… let’s see…
“Kek” (We are not the Horde in World of Warcraft, people!)
“oof” << people usually really say it randomly, when its something good, bad or neutral?? I don’t bloody get it xD It’s usually in italics as well when it’s typed.
oh, and on a few facebook groups I am in, “weebs”. I irk at the sight of it. Like, can people enjoy anime without using the word “weeb” as an insult (I’ve seen it used as an insult far too many times)
“BG” – means bad game, I hate it personally. I can understand that you win some or lose some in videogames, and typing that is in plain sight just plain toxic. It’s like… they are trying to bait you??

salrynn : I’ve been using oof in that context for a looong time. I like it. But netflix and chill means sex?? Live and leaen. My son was amazed that I used the word butthurt in a sentence. It was totally worth it just to see his face.
