- Wedding: February 2012
Our photographer is a good friend of my FI’s so he is taking the pictures, giving them to us digitally and we are responsible for printing them any way we like. I am a graphic designer, so this works perfectly for us.
I want to make a nice photo book for our wedding photos after we’re married, so I was looking around online for companies that print high quality albums. I came accross Picaboo and decided to give them a try by printing a book with our engagement photos in it.
Their software is very easy to use, so I used that to quickly make the photo book. I will probably use photoshop when I make the pages for our wedding album, just for more precision and flexibility. The software makes it very easy to edit, preview and order copies of the book.
We ended up ordering 6 copies in all for ourselves and family members: 2 “classic” hardcover books (8.5×11) and 4 “classic” softcover books (4×6).
After we ordered, production took about 2 days and they shipped here (to Canada) in just 2 business days! I was very impressed with how quick it was!
Here are some photos of the books:

Softcover classic (4×6):
The books are pretty good quality. The paper and the print quality is very nice and the colors are vibrant. However, the binding on the hardcover book is kind of flimsy. It was only $30 though, and I think that’s pretty reasonable for the product we got.
I will be using Picaboo to print or wedding album (we’ll probably go with the “Ranch” leather cover). I highly recommend them!
