So Bees we did decide on fine china that is under $110 a set which is reasonableI feel. But now comes the choice of which set to get? Help me out! Which set do you like best? I love both, my Fiance loves the green, each of my sisters choose one and my daughter choose the blue so we are all tied up!

I like the lighter colored one. Maybe it is my computer but I am having a hard time discerning which one is blue and which is green.

The top one is a dark cobalt blue and the bottom one is more of a slate/green color. So the blue one is on top!

@baletrina: I think we have the same china! I registered for blue..personally I think the blue is more timeless.

I like the cobalt blue personally

The slate green one looks kinda wishy washy to me. Maybe it’s different in person and just looks soft and elegant. The blue looks very formal, but I suppose I prefer it.

Hmm… I personally like the blue. The contrast against the white is really striking. But in your situation, if Fiance loves the green and you don’t really care I’d let him pick… you could always use that as a bargaining chip to get something you REALLY want later haha!

So my mother pointed out how casual the cup is on the green one. More coffee than a tea cup. It made me crazy because I could not stop looking at it! Also found out that the green set is $70 more per set than what we saw on Sunday, there was a sale apparently… The blue set in person is stunning and really does catch the eye. And as I flipped over the plates to look I saw that the blue plates were made in the Phillipines(I’m Filipino) and that sealed the deal. Its fate!! Noritake Crestwood in Cobalt is mine!
Thanks for all the help Bees!

Have you seen them in person? I was looking at the slate one last night. I like light dishes, but will inherit cream Lenox with a gold band eventually (super formal), so I’m thinking of registering for the slate ones for a little variety.
