@MsGinkgo:  With pleasure! My picks: Toasted Coconut, Raspberry Bliss, Carrot Cake, Smores and Key Lime (because I know you like that key limeLaughing).

Maybe I’m a fat kid, but I would be thrilled if you served any of the flavors in your poll.

@MsGinkgo:  If key lime and carrot are definites I would suggest the other three be banana (because its vastly different from those 2 and most people like banana cake), lemon (because its pretty universally appealing), and mocha because it adds a richer flavor in.

Chocolate Cake with mocha buttercream drizzled with caramel, dark chocolate & toffee bits

WHAT. No contest. I’d have about five of those and then a cookies and cream one. 🙂

I picked carrot, s’mores, choc mint, coconut and red velvet. Personally I never feel like a really heavy piece of chocolate cake after dinner, I much prefer something lighter and fruity or tangy. Could be because I’m old though

@Bearimbolo:  THIS.  Red Velvet is as chocolatey of a cake that I can handle!

Of the choices, there was only ONE with a white cake option! Sure, chocolate is rich and tasty, but you have the choice of…

3 citrus choices (I’d pick just one of these)

    6 (or 7) chocolate cakes

what about white cake with coconut? or white CHOCOLATE cake with vanilla buttercream?

@MsGinkgo:  How old is your guestlist? I, being younger, like the choc mint, mocha, cookies and cream, and the chocolate cake with the drizzling and toffe and yummmmm.

I also like lemon cake and mango, they are both appealing to young and old, being fruity and sweet with some tang. But younger crowds will more than likely want the choice of something rich and/or chocolatey too!

    I picked

    • Cookies and cream, pink lemonade and smores – never had any of these flavors in a cupcake, so I’d be excited to try them!
    • Carrot cake with cream cheese and vanilla with rasberry – these are classics that I absolutely love!

@MsGinkgo:  I would say then that the choices above may be more reflective of your audience. 🙂 With such a small amount (circa 10% between 1 and 30) Your crowd would more than likely prefer less chocolate and more sweet yet tangy options, and more complex flavours will be appreciated.

Seriosuly though, with so many awesome optons its hard to not get something everyone will like!
