    Your menu sounds so good! Mmm! I wish sometimes we were having a spring/summer wedding, for the fresh produce alone.

    I like that you guys aren’t doing a cake and are instead picking an assortment of small desserts. Don’t worry about your FI’s family, it’s your day and you should eat Butterfinger cheesecake if you want to. (There’s a song title for you!)

    This was a hard one, but I think the crostini, beet salad, spicy shrimp, and duck on wontons sound best to me. I think you should have two non-chicken/duck/seafood hors d’oeuvres just for the sake of lightness (it’ll be hot in June, and you’re offering heavier and spicier main dishes) as well as for those who aren’t big on proteins.

    I like this menu too, brings out the food nerd in me! I haven’t had purple potatoes in forever, but I want to hit up my farmer’s market soooo bad now. Have you tried purple cauliflower? It’s so great!

    If you’re specifically looking for feedback based on the rest of your menu, it might be good to mention that in the poll question. I voted in the poll before I realized you were listing your menu below.

    I voted for beet salad, crab cakes, quesadillas and duck with hoisin sauce. My fifth choice would be the honey lavender crostini.

    For apps I’m all about things that are easy to eat (vs. potentially making a mess).  I also tend to prefer one-bite type things – or flavors that don’t linger….

    That said – I  voted for 4, 5, 6, 7

    i voted for just the quesadillas and the duck – everything else i either cant eat (allergic to seafood and shellfish) or just doesnt sound appetizing…. the quesadillas, those sound like heaven though….
