At some point Fiance asked me if I would just go pick the ring cause I guess he couldn’t decide…. I flat out refused it. I think the man should do the picking, the buying, the proposing…. I told him what I like, I wanted it round, solitaire, around 0.5 ct and the setting to be rose gold. And I said he has to find a ring he thinks I would love. He ended up having it custom made… and I looove it, it’s perfect. <3

My fiance and I went together to go ring shopping. He wanted to know what I liked within our budget. Before I went with him I had something COMPLETELY different in mind. Once I tried my now-ring on I knew there wasn’t another one that could compare and I absolutely LOVE it. I think it was special that we went together and got to share the experience. In his favor, the ring I wanted was half of his original budget. He still kept it a secret as to when he picked up the ring and how he was going to propose and I don’t think it took anything away from the proposal. It really just depends on your fiance’s preferences. If your fiance is hesitant about it, go with your mom or some girlfriends and tell them what you like so they can help him. That said, I’m glad I found it with him instead of family or friends. Picking out the ring was almost just as special to me as his actual proposal.

I picked out my ring!! Still waiting on it as it is being customized. My boyfriend and I have completely different tastes. He is into the bulky gold and showed me a few a while ago and I didn’t like any of them. So we went shopping together.
