I am so happy my girls and i fiound a dress today! we were planning on doing a one shoulder dress from davids bridal, in lapis, but they dont make extra length to accomodate my taller maids!
So after visiting a few bridal shops, we came across this one it looks a little different in person and we’re considering putting a brooch on the tie of the sash. Does anyone else plan on using this dress or have used a BL plum dress? How did you like it? How did the color photograh (you know how some plums look purple or brown in pics!)
Thanks so much!

Hey that’s pretty. A sparkly brooch would be just the thing to break up a fairly good sized expanse of colour. Whatcha doin with flowers etc then? You goin all plum for decoration, or jewel tones, or something else entirely?

thanks! i def think a brooch right where the knot of the tie is for the sash and i didnt decide yet on flowers. any suggestions 🙂 ! for decoration i was going to coordinate some charcoal grey and such with the decor but thats up in the air as of now. im thinking of maybe a sparkly necklace also. i may even just do the brooch for my Maid/Matron of Honor so she stands out a bit more since the rest will be wearing the same dress too!

My girls are wearing Bill Levkoff as well! One of my Bridesmaid or Best Man is wearing the one that you posted, and then the rest picked different styles. Two of them are wearing the same, but I didn’t mind. They are wearing the Plum color as well. Here are the others…I love them! 🙂 My niece, who is my JR Bridesmaid or Best Man is wearing the short strapless dress, and my sister who is my Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing the short one with straps. My sister is also wearing the victorian lilac instead of the plum, because I wanted her to stand out.

I might be doing that exact same Bill Levkoff dress (in plum) also (it’s between that and another option). The bridesmaids loved it when they tried it on. Brooches would like nice. Not that this was professional, but every picture we took at the bridal store of the BMs in the dress turned out black. I’m thinking of putting all the bridesmaids in plum and my two maids of honor in the same dress but in the Victorian Lilac color.
