    Wear a mermaid slip

Have the seamstress add more tulle to the dress

Have the seamstress take the dress in at the knees

Do nothing - the dress will flare out more once the tulle is steamed

Omg I’m so happy I found another dress-twin, this looks AMAZING on you!!! Is this ivory? I still have a while until mine comes in so I’m so happy to see your pics! I love it how it is, looks sort of how mine fit me…

I actually like the idea of having the seamstress take it in at the knee more to create a more defined marmaid silhouette. However, I have never even put a mermaid dress on my body nor do I have any credibility or expertise to discuss the mermaid style, so take that into consideration.

Regardless, I do think a mermaid petticoat would look better.

@amethystbride:  This helps alot to see the same dress as mine in the ivory (I just think the ivory looks stunning!) When I “said yes to the dress” I had a size 10 on! (all clipped up of course so it was hard to invision the final product) So I am edger to try it on in the correct size. I can’t wait! but this really eases my fears 🙂

This looks so good on you! It’s my dress too but I’m still waiting for it to come in, and seeing pictures of it looking great on other people helps ease my stress so much! I think I am going to ask my seamstress to put in a few layers of crinoline but I’m waiting to see how it looks when I get it. Are you going to wear a sash? Or a necklace? I’m so conflicted on accessories with this dress.
