I picked up my dress today~ WOO! I love it so so much.
I was a bit surprised that it sat differently to the one I had tried on instore 🙁 I will post pic below of the one I tried and mine (they have different lines to them because the tulle in the try on verson has collapsed).
It would have been helpful for the shop assistant to tell me that before I ‘said yes to the dress’
Anyway, tell me what look you guys prefer because I can have tulle layers removed in alterations next week but not sure if i want to remove them or not.
and here’s some side/back view, love a good side/back view, let me know which belt you prefer- plain or blush pink.

The fuller skirt looks like it was made for you! Absolutely gorgeous!! With the blush belt 🙂

You look amazing – it’s so perfect on you. I love the full skirt in these pictures – I personally wouldn’t reduce the volume based on these pictures. I think it makes a lovely silhouette.
But how do you feel it in? Does it move too stiffly from the added volume? I did try on a few that felt like they moved completely independent of me hahah… interesting.
Gosh silk mikado photographs amazingly. Love the material. You can really tell the difference.
I can see how it is a bit unexpected as the sample is look a lot more A line than ballgown. It definitely strikes me as more regal and feminine as a ballgown with the pink belt. From your venue pics maybe that is a perfect fit?!

I’m no help, but I think it looks really great either way. It really just depends on what fits what you like, and what type of dress you want. Personally, it would be too much poof for me, but for my bestie, it wouldn’t be enough!

I thought only one thing when I saw the full skirt: WOW! It looks AMAZING on you! I adore the simplicity of that dress, and the full skirt looks just like the sample you tried on but with new, regained life. Don’t change it!
As for the belts, I voted for plain because I like that it gives a natural continuation to your body and the shape of the dress without cutting you off BUT you have such an amazing figure that you can totally pull off the blush one if you want to add a pop of color.

I like the full skirt. The thing with the blush belt is it is really close to your skin tone and looks like it is your skin in the picture where you are turned to the side. I’d stick with the belt it came with.

I think the fuller skirt looks gorgeous on you and I am NOT usually a fan. Your dress looks gorgeous and perfect on you. I personally wouldn’t change a thing – even the white sash looks perfect in my opinion. Good luck honey 😊

Not sure if you’ve already looked this up. But you go to 4:55 on this video there’s about 10 seconds of runway time where you can see how the dress moves when it’s not too long: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzMZb7JTVnQ
It looks amazingly airy and light (despite what must be a million layers of fluff underneath!)

The full skirt is AMAZING! You look gorgeous

I love the full skirt, I think the blush sash ruins the beautiful simplicity of the dress.

I love the full skirt! It makes your waist look so tiny and really emphasizes the sweetheart neck. You look beautiful!

I love the fuller skirt on you! I’m not sure about the belt though. If blush isn’t one of your wedding colors, I’d go with the plain belt.

Love it with the fuller skirt and plain belt! Such a beautiful classic silhouette.

I prefer you in the full skirt. You truly look stunning in it! I also prefer the plain belt and feel that the blush belt ruins the timelessness of the dress.
