Ugh I’m second guessing myself too!!!

I love love love the dress I did choose but wonder what if…sigh

But…the dress is GORGEOUS.  No doubt about that.  And you look amazing in it.  So don’t even think for a minute that your Fiance won’t be blown away.

Of the three others, the only only I absolutely LOVED, was the third one-the Casablanca.  Of all four, it’s the only one that makes your waist look teeny-tiny if that’s what you want.  The other two were nothing special in my opinion.

Good luck girl! Let us know what you decide to do!!!

I haven’t read the other posts yet, but your dress is GORGEOUS but it does seem like there’s extra fabric on the waist — not because of the flowers, just seems like it hangs loose there.  It looks like just getting altered and having it fitted on the waist would solve the problem.

I have the same issue you have — I’m not a size 2, but a 10, but my waist is TINY compared to my hips/boobs (I have 40″ hips, vs 28″ waist…), so my dress also is loose on the waist.  I haven’t picked it up yet, but I know I’m going to invest money in alterations to make sure that it is fitted on the waist.

Talk to a seamstress — she should be able to solve that for you.  And if money is not an object, you can always add a corset back to it.

From all the dresses you tried on, the one you bought is definitely my favorite.

i think you look beautiful in the dress, seriously.  just have the seamstress take in the dress since you aren’t totally fitted into yet.  we are definately our own worst critics, so we definately see flaws or over-examine what we feel are flaws but are really nothing (did that make sense?).

The dress is absolutely gorgeous and I like it so much better than the reject dresses on you.  Once you get it tailored I think it will look even better, it looks like it needs to be pulled up a bit, like some other posters have said, and then those flowers will hit your waist line a lot better.  I also agree with maybe taking some of the crinoline out.

I think what’s important is how you feel in the dress.  It seems like you just aren’t comfortable that it will be your wedding dress.  Do you have a “dream dress” somewhere?  Is there a runner-up you can revisit?  If you can afford to, I would go for a dress that you really love; I am sure you will have no problem selling the dress you currently have.  GL!

I think your dress is gorgeous and does not make you look thick it all!  If you are worried about the fit, is there any more that they can take in around the waist?  Maybe a bit of a nip will make you like the dress better.

This isn’t easy for me to say because truth be told your dress is my dream dress, however I see what you mean about the waist. I think you are right the flowers on the waist line seem to hide your tiny waist. You still look beautiful and maybe there is something that can be done to fix this. I think that giving your situation you should do whatever will make you the happiest, 1 because you deserve it and 2 because you truly can! I would honestly hate to see you sell this dress though because it is probably my favorite dress ever. Let me know what you decide and remember your happiness is what is important!

I think the dress looks beautiful! Maybe your seamstress can take in an inch or two around the waist to show off the curves you have??

I absolutely love your dress on you! I really think that a few alterations can show your waist and hips more.

i, for one, can completely see how tiny your waist is. losing the gorgeous flower detailing would be a sin! keep it – trust me, the stress of finding a new wedding gown seven weeks before the wedding is NOT worth it (i just had to find a new one 12 weeks prior and that was hellish). it’s a gorgeous gown and you look great.

@meliss – wow, I was really nervous when I read your post about not loving your dress now that you saw it again, but I think you look amazing in it!  I don’t think you should be second guessing the dress (but obviously I’m a little biased since I love this dress too!)

Thanks for posting pics and for all the info.  I think you look gorgeous in your dress and I hope you love it again!

You are gorgeous!  And you look beautiful in the dress, but if you want me to be completely honest, I think you can do better.  You have an amazing figure and I am just not sure this dress flatters your figure as much as it could be flattered.  You are beautiful!

I agree with mandM- I would go with a natural waist dress that accents your desirable hourglass figure.

@Meliss:  Awww, head up.  What about revisiting one of the other three?  Are any of those still an option?  I loved the Casablanca on you!
