- Wedding: June 2012
Hello Bees! Since I was not at all creative in making a username and I love this hilarious picture of a rabbit I found I shall be… Ms. Rabbit.
I am soooo excited to be getting married to the goofiest, sweetest person I know. It has been a great ride so far and now I get to plan a celebration for our families. Sounds like a sweet deal. The problem is I have a split decision on the look of the wedding. We’ve put the down payment on my favorite venue (was a tough decision) and now I see two totally different weddings. It’d be great to get a vote or to get some opinions on how to use the look of the manor. I’ve been a bit lost lately and have loved the input and support of the hive I’ve seen so far. I’m also an almost recent graduate and trying to do most of it myself.
Things to keep in mind:
starts at 5:30 for gathering, 6pm wedding, and dinner at 7:30. Sun Sets around 8:30.
Mr. Rabbit likes both options.
These are pictures of the outside and inside of the venue.
Option 1: Royal Blue and Clover Green. This one is a bit complicated as I am toying with all the same centerpieces (wine bottle candelabras or cobalt blue vases with flowers) or alternating between the two. All tables would have a white table cloth, clover table runner, and royal blue napkins folded into thirds and draped at each table place. (I drew pictures but they are too shameful to show the hive).
This option will have alternating centerpieces. Half of the tables will have cobalt blue wine bottles with candelabras on top. These tables will have smaller 5” mason jars x3 with flowers in them and 3 mason jars with candles between them. The other half of the tables with have either a tale cobalt blue vase or 4-5 mini cobalt blue vases on and off of two stacked books with 3-4 mason jars with candles in them. The green and royal blue are out favorite colors. Outdoor decorating would be triangular bunting flags (like those but handmade in blue and green) and paper lanterns.
The wine bottle candelabra inspired by teeniemarie. See the link for photos.
Option 2: Vintage with mason jars, books, and flowers. This would have more of a lighter color theme (maybe dusty rose, ivory, and blue). I am normally not a pink themed person so maybe just light blues. The picture below had been my inspiration for this theme. The outside would also be decorated with bunting flags like these and paper lanterns. This has been a recent choice due to perusing weddingbee way too much.
Or if you feel so inspired by the venue pictures to suggest something totally different I’m game :). THANKS!!!
