That’s totally fine. It may be a little early for dinner but you could also serve some late night snacks if you want? I don’t think it will be a problem for your guests though.

Sounds good to me. 🙂 Our wedding ceremony starts at 2PM, which should last an hour with communion. Afterwards, we intend to have our receiving line, putting us around 3:30. Our cocktail hour begins at 4, lasts until 5, and dinner is set to be plated for 5:30. I personally think this is a great timeline; I dislike both early and late wedding start times. Also, I know that my Fiance and I are pretty obsessed with our reception venue. We thought about having everything start at 4 but our reception has to end by midnight and we wanted to maximize our time celebrating with everyone. 

We are serving evening snacks, however, to accommodate people who might be peckish later on.
