My Fiance and I had a jeweller make my engagement ring, and now he’s doing our wedding bands too. He sent us the basic designs so we could test the size, etc, but now I’m really confused about the width and the style and everything (damn that constant indecision).
When I first went to his shop, I looked at this ring (the one sitting below my engagement ring) that he recommended.
We received the rings the other day and now I just feel like it’s way too thick. I know that this is partly because the diamonds aren’t set in it yet, but now I’m doubting everything.
I did try to make a little mock up of what it might look like with the diamonds set in…
And then I put on the tester of my FI’s ring which is curved…
Or would something without a border/edge around the diamonds – shared prong band (like the middle one in this photo) look better? Have more flow/not look so static? (Sorry for the terrible image quality).
I’m just looking for advice on the style (straight? the diamonds set in the band? a little curved – will the ring move around a lot and annoy me every time I see it out of line? a shared prong band?). I feel like I’m doubting everything more and more, and I have no idea what looks best! Any help will be incredibly appreciated.
