I’m sure there was a school here that banned parents doing the school run in pjs.

the phone thing is common too. We’re not allowed to use our phones on our son’s nursery premises. It’s a safeguarding thing and never had an issue with it

Twizbe :  There was a school in County Durham I think. Some parents were doing the school run in pjs and even attending school plays in the morning wearing them. I get that as an adult you can wear what you want but I wouldn’t leave the house in my pjs.

soexcited123 :  the school principle can’t force rules on the parents separate from local laws. If I were a parent at that school I’d probably start wearing crop tops just to prove a point.

I definitely agree with the no being on the phone.  But I don’t think a principal can really enforce a dress code on an adult.
