Pigs in a blanket. Yum and I think they’re picnic-y.

What are you having for dinner? So that we don’t repeat your food choices 🙂

some that I think that would be so cute are:

–          Mini pulled pork sandwiches

–          Grilled fruit kabobs

–          Grilled veggies kabobs

–          Single Ribs

–          Mini grilled cheese sandwiches

–          And from Martha: Mini mac n cheese my favorite!! So cute!!

I think you may not need that much food for cocktail hour, but you could put out a cheese plate, a guacamole/salsa bar, french fry bar, hush puppies with sauce and/or smoked fish with crackers.

And since you’ve got a cool theme, I’d use cocktail hour to do a fun signature drink–even if it’s non-alcoholic, like sweet tea.

Using rattan baskets and trays will also contribute to the picnic feeling.

We’re doing a similar theme and are planning to serve homemade potato chips with sea salt.
