The forecast is predicting rain for my wedding. I am worried that if it rains we will not get any pictures because there is not any room in the reception tent. We are supposed to have an outdoor ceremony at a golf course followed by a tented reception.
Did anyone else experience a rainy outdoor wedding? What did you do for pictures?

I’ve seen some really awesome raining wedding pictures! Definitely get a cute umbrella! Here’s some nice ones I liked (sorry they’re so big!)

@beeberonibri: Not that our ceremony or reception are outside but your last pic is exactly why I want at least a little rain on my day!

As long as it’s not pouring, go out and do photos. Get a huge umbrella, have a pair of shoes you can wear that you don’t mind getting wet.

@beeberonibri those pics are nice!
@mufflerlove maybe you can have a talk with your photographer and express your concerns. Then you two can brainstorm some back up plans and photo ideas so that if it does in fact rain you have some awesome photo plans already lined up.
And then come back and share your recap.

personally, i love rainy wedding shots, but i understand your apprehension about the weather.
that being said, don’t pay too much attention to the forecast outside of three days.
the first time i checked on the weather for our outdoor wedding, it called for 80-percent chance of thunderstorms. it ended up being 75 and sunny with not a cloud in the sky.
my photographer recommended clear umbrellas, which we bought and thankfully, didn’t need.
either way, at the end of the day, you’ll be married – rain or shine.

We didn’t have the ceremony outside because the weather was so bad, but we did go out for photos later on when there was a break in the rain. Unfortunately, it started coming down really hard again when we were taking some group shots (before we got to the bride and groom shots).
