I prefer #7 on you as well – it gives you amazing curves and makes you look like a vintage Hollywood bombshell – but the neckline isn’t really doing it for me. As you said, it could be better with the right bra and alterations.

But given that you’ve only tried on strapless sweethearts and the one lace bateau neck. I’d be interested to see how you’d go in some other necklines, because they may work better with your bust size. E.g. v-necks:

    Jim Hjelm

    Alvina Valenta

    Martina Liana

One-shoulder is also a generally good idea for small busts. and I think it would go with the vintage thing you’ve got going with your hair and make-up.

Maye even a straight neckline woudl work for you?

But I think you should definitely stick to a mermaid/trumpet shape because you rock that. And, for some reason, the thicker fabrics (silk or satin rather than lace) seems to work for you.

@sillysillybee:  You are gorgeous in all of the mermaid silhouettes! You should show off your lovely shape!

I love number 7 on you….I think it is lovely on your figure and so elegant! I also think that dress number 2 is stunning.

I personally love the last one the best – but your face looks radiant in #3. You have a different facial expression in that one to the rest, and are holding yourself differently.

@sillysillybee:  I’m going to vote before reading comments, then come back to post. But I’ll tip my hat: a couple of these made me gasp. I like them better than the all satin one you showed yesterday.

@sillysillybee:  Ok, I’m back, It’s hilarious that there is noe clear winner when I thought at #3 is the winner! I liked 4 as well.

But that 7, the satin one, does suit you very well. Do not get one of those other mermaids.! If you are going mermaid (or fit & flair) go with the satin dress. I would love to see the top better fitted to you, but I know that’s something your seamtress will do.

@Weetzie:  yep, agreed, that’s why I like it. It is stunningly different with her in it, a great match of dress and model.

@bellaingenue:  She reminds me of Princess Caroline of Monoco! No wait, I’m showing my age and that would insult the OP–she reminds me of Princess Caroline’s daughter who looks just like her mother did at the same age.

Ummm…my thoughts are…you look fkn SMOKIN hot.  What a great body you have!  I wish my back looked like that!!  I like the tighter dresses on you, because I feel it’s a shame to cover up that body with a big poufy dress – but they ALL look amazing.  I don’t know if there’s a dress that would look shitty on you period!
