I got my boudoir pictures the other day and I love them! I had my hair and makeup trial earlier which was great because I a) got to have it done nicely for the photoshoot and b) it let me see how it would turn out in pictures.
I love how it looks in the boudoir, but for the wedding, I think I want it a little more boho romantic. So more natural eyes? Looser and more volumous hair? Maybe I should wear my hair down? Or half up? I don’t have thick hair, and I have a sooo many of wispy baby hairs, so I’m looking for romantic, organic, wavy styles that work with fine long hair. Any thoughts/ suggestions would be appreciated! I’ll post a few of not too revealing boudoir pics, and then a few of the inspiration hair/makeup pictures!
For reference here is my own make-up during my e-shoot:
And here is more of my inspiration which I am leaing towards now (but clearly, its still all over the place):

What a beautiful photo shoot! I really love your hair and makeup – it’s perfect for a boudoir shoot – but if you are after a more romantic boho look, perhaps same braids (like that last look) would help? And maybe lighten up on the eyeliner/eyeshadow.
Have a look here to see a hairstyle that I think is kind of similar to that last one. The bride is blonde, too, and her makeup is quite lovely and light.

First of all, you look stunning in those shots! I really love your makeup especially. But I agree with PP, if you toned down the eyeliner a bit it would be more boho.

I really like the makeup that she did for you. I think that it’s just enough to come out nice in pictures. I’m afraid if you go “too natural” more than that, it won’t come out in pictures well. But, I do see that in the pictures you posted and even in your e-pix, you want the “I’m not wearing any makeup” look.. maybe tell her to go lighter on the lids and stay heavy with the lashes?
I love the first hairstyle you posted of… I forget her name – the one from Modern Family.

Looking fantastic! I think you are right, more volume in the hair more like the Uma Thurman pic you posted, I think that would be perfect.
For your makeup I really like what they did with it actually, makes your eyes stand out nicely. The only think I would change would be the lipstick, it looks a little frosty, maybe go for a more sheer soft rosy pink.

Very pretty. For more bo-ho I’d go with softer eyes (less liner), a little more highlighter on the cheeks, a little more contouring, hair half-up with extensions for volume, braids

Oh my, you are beautiful!
As for your wedding day look, I’m inclined to agree with clairebear000’s suggestions above.
You are so pretty, you will be stunning on your big day.

@FoolsintheRain: You have such flawless looking skin and I think your makeup looks great. My only suggestion would be adding more volume!!

@perfectingfaith: Thanks for the inspiration link! I love her hair, but I’m worried about going with too much braid? I do want to incorporate one somewhere!
@futuremrsk18: Thanks! Should I do false eyelashes? I like the look of long eyelashes that are delicate, noting too heavy/ thick. Does that make sense?
@Almost Mrs.P: Thanks, I’m thinking no liner/ a little brown liner on the top lid only maybe?
@clairebear000: Thank you- I love our photographer! I agree- more volume on top & definately a bit more curl. I also wondered about the lip colour. This one definately orangey maybe? So something more pink and less peach perhaps?

@lovekiss: I don’t think she did any contouring! She applied the foundation with aidbrushing, and same for blush, and then an overall powder. I think I need the blush a bit more on the apples of my cheeks. What should I ask about contouring?
I need to suck it up and get hair extensions. I’m a student bride (just went back to school recently), so I”m trying to be thrifty…but I think the look I want needs more hair lol.
@sassy411: Aww thank you!
@weddingbound: Thanks for the feedback. I’m thrilled you think my skin looks flawless- I had the WORST skin growing up and only in the past year has it started clearing up. I still worry it looks bumpy! Do you think volume can be accomplished with more curls and teasing, or do I need extensions?

Wow, that black and white photograph is stunning – you’re much prettier than any of the pictures you’ve posted on this thread – your make up is also much nicer IMO.
I like the blush in the last one, but I’m not keen on the bronzed look in the earlier ones – especially if you want a soft/romantic look.
I really like your hair in the first one – It’s a nice classic look. I think you could rock the Uma look.
I do agree that the lipstick is not quite the right colour for you – i’d keep looking on that one.

@FoolsintheRain: I certainly think it could be done by teasing and lots of bobby pins to create maybe a small bump at the crown.

You’re gorgeous! I love the look as is!

@FoolsintheRain: They have different kinds of falsies, so I vote yes – tell your MUA that you want them to be natural!
