My Fiance is wanting me to pick a ring style, and I am really in love with the round center stone set in the halo setting. The problem is he wants to do a diamond and sapphire wedding band/bands and I wondered what type of band do you use with this ring setting? Thanks for any help. 🙂

Mine is this one from Kirk Kara. http://www.kirkkara.com/#section=gallery&productid=6757-R
The halo and diamond sit up a little so the band will sit below that and sits flush.

I really thought hard about this, too, but decided to get a wedding band that did not sit flush with my engagement ring. One of the things I really like about my halo ring is that it has a very, very thin micropave band, which is great for my tiny, tiny hand. In the end, I thought that getting a wedding band that sat flush would have made the ring’s band look thicker, and I actually think that the gap between my micropave half eternity band and the engagement ring makes both rings look daintier.

I agree with allurex112. My ring is a three stone and all stones are set in a halo type setting so instead of trying to find one that sits flush, I’m going to get a thin mircopave band and will end up with a gap. I think think it makes both rings looks dainter as well. I don’t care for think bands so I like the thin look! 🙂
