I went into my dress shop today and I was able to get a few pics of mysef in my dress.
I am a pear shape so the top is a little to big, but she fits well in the hips. She is a size 14, and I am a size 10/12 in the top.

The people that are voting Maybe…But… and No! Can you please explain? I think every Bride is scared of everyone saying “oh you look great!’ but then realy they are thinking ‘OMG!! YUCK!!’

@laura.batty: I am one of the people who voted “no”.
To me, it’s just the silhouette of the dress. The pattern and fabric and colour are beautiful. I just feel it would look better on you if it flared out from higher up, like somewhere between your wrist and your elbow when you have your arms down like in the photo.
Funnily enough, I think the pear girls who can pull off a mermaid or fit anf flare that flares out from the lower thigh are even more pear than you, with an even bigger difference between their waist and hips – think Kim Kardashian. (Or they are major hourglasses.)
That said, let’s see how it looks when it fits your properly. And I freaking LOVE your accessories and overall look. Awesome!

I like it! I remember when you posted the photo of the model in the dress, and I thought “that’s not going to work so well with your theme. But seeing it on YOU, I realise I was wrong! I think it looks great, and I like the style on you a lot. Is yours silver and the stock photo gold or something? There’s something different

I love the details, but I definitely think it needs to be fitted. I don’t love where it flares out on your body (it seems low and somewhat unbalanced to me). But I’m not personally a huge fan of dropped waist dresses! If you love it, then it’s perfect.

@laura.batty: I love all the beadwork! It will look great once it is properly fitted at the top. Looking forward to wedding pics:)
