RedHeadKel:  I can’t sing their praises enough. Unique, the elongated shape makes them look bigger, and super sparkle. I love seeing people play with the length to width ratio to get different shapes too.

Fiance picked out an emerald (like I told him too) and it doesn’t even compare to the pear. You have to go huge/flawless in emeralds.

Lyssie:  It sounds to me like you want people to believe that your ring is diamond.  Please don’t.  Unless you are the type of people to have $100000+ to spend on a ring, people will not believe you that it is diamond, and it will come across awfully tacky if you try to convince them otherwise.

I’ve heard Mossanite rings are beautiful (never seen one, don’t think they are v. popular in Australia) and there is no shame with telling people what it really is.  Enjoy the bling!

nessdawwg:  I have a really large real diamond – its a family heirloom, and im sure people dont think my Fiance can afford it considering its size and clarity, but I know its real and my grandmother bought it from her friend who was a jeweler in 1950 to pass it down.

mightyduck17:  thats obviously an exception. I know a girl who has a 7ct looking ring who tells everyone its real – even on social media its hashtagged as real when we all know its not diamond. Larger stones are also easier to tell if they are real or not. I dont really care either way what people have on their fingers, just dont like it when ppl try to pass of something else as a diamond.
