Because everyone loves an excuse to post their ring….
i wanna see some pictures!
SO and I have been looking at different styles on Blue Nile and i think i have narrowed it down to a round solitaire. But i am not sure if i love the classic setting or pave better! And then which wedding band looks the best with it.
Looking for all round solitaires
classic ering with classic band, classic e ring with pave band, pave ering with pave band or pave ering with classic band. I want to see them all! Please state your stats if you feel comfortable. I am trying to get a gage on what size is best for me – although acording to this site i have hulk hands! lol Size 8-8.5 and i am looking at 1ct – 1.25? maybe 1.5 and SO wants 2 but since i want a thin band i dont think it will work, plus i have always loved dainty rings.

This is mine. It’s not technically pave, but shared prong. I love the look of a solitaire with small sidestones, I think its still classic but lots of bling, too!

leisha606: It’s supposed to be slightly more secure. I really wanted a thin band. Mine is 1.8 mm. Most jewelers do not recommend anything under 2mm for pave because the stones are more likely to fall out. I didn’t realize until after we bought it that it was not actually pave, but it makes no difference to me!

Solitaire in a cathedral settingon a size 6 finger. I think the band is 2.5mm or a little wider. Specs are as follows: 1.78 (I think), faces up at 7.5mm, SI2 in clarity, color is around a J and the cut is “not so good” – rated as good 😉
