I don’t have a pink diamond, but I am having a yellow diamond ring custom made by Diamonds by Lauren. They are one of the most well known and respected natural colored diamond sellers in the United States. Their prices are also extremely competitive.

Here are some of their rings. http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/categories/diamond-rings#colors=diamond_color_pink&intensity=&shapes=&carat-min=&carat-max=&price-min=&price-max=&cat_id=199&ring_types=&page=2

(if you click on the image of the ring you like and scroll down towards the bottom of the page, their is often a hand picture. If there isn’t you can contact them and ask to see some hand pictures.

Here’s more info on the company: http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/content/about

If you do a search of reviews for this company, I think you’ll be impressed!

I have a “pink lemonade” ring- yellow diamond center stone with a halo of pink diamonds:

Here’s a close-up:

My ring is from Diamonds by Lauren.  Another poster mentioned them for colored diamonds, and I totally agree.  I plan to get a pink diamond wedding band to match the halo.  Pink Diamonds look best with Rose Gold metal to bring out the color.

kitbuddy:  I have never seen a yellow diamond ring that spoke to me, but your ring is breathtaking! Seriously, the pink diamonds in the halo and the yellow gold band is so unique and striking. Are the diamonds in the band yellow as well? I’m in love haha. Definitely one of my favorite rings on the Bee!

boaxai:  i’d like to see the listing for that ring. i’m sure that you have a diamond ring from zales that’s had diamonds that have been treated to be pink. but i highly doubt you have a “naturally pink” (i.e. totally untreated) diamond band from zales.

untreated pink diamonds are like $30k for just 1/4 carat. they are PRICEY. i’m sure that zales listed the ring as “naturaly pink diamonds” – but that description is ambiguous. it’s not clear whether they are natural diamonds that are pink, or naturally pink diamonds. zales can easily and legally listed a ring as “natural” as long as the stone is mined and not lab-created; it doesn’t have anything to do with the color. unless you have a certificate for the diamonds that specfically states they are totally untreated, your ring is NOT made of naturally pink diamonds.

Pink diamonds are pricey. Though I don’t think finding one is impossible. Besides the 4Cs, pink diamond prices are judged by the intensity. A very faint pink diamond might not be as expensive as $400k, but not expect it to be more affordable than good grade colorless diamonds.

I just bought a natural pinkish brown GIA certified just over half carat cushion cut diamond. And I bought a fancy yellow heart also GIA and natural. yellow diamonds are my absolute favourite!! Closely followed by pink.

I’m also going into the business again of sourcing diamonds and I specialise in coloured diamonds, just something to stop me from getting bored while I’m a stay at home mum.

averria:  they are pricey, but again it really depends on colour and the certification. Sometimes you get lucky at an auction overseas and can pick them up at quite good prices. The argyle pinks cost an arm and a leg to buy, anything purplish pink also costs a fortune.
