    What is the theme of your wedding and is it outside?

    I chose the birdcages because I am biased and using them in my wedding!

    The boxes look nice for a formal indoor event, so if that is the look you’re going for then go for the boxes!

    @jessyrez:

    Personally, I think those birdcages are beautiful, but I don’t like the symbolism of birdcages for weddings. The boxes are gorgeous and definitely more secure and discreet.

    Boxes with the feathers and deco accents instead of the flowers!

    I’m with the pp that mentioned not liking the birdcage connotations for a wedding so I’d do the box… Although those are gorgeous birdcages!

    I like the cages better, but it sounds like the boxes fit your theme better.

    I am personally going to go with a box because I think they are a little more secure (I have some sketchy family members) the birdcages look like you could easily take a few cards out without anyone noticing while the boxes you could glue shut until you wanted to open the cards.

    @jessyrez:  ooooh I LOVE it!! Great colors BTW!!! If you really want to incorporate the amazing Art Deco font from your first post, you can always get a thank you sign (in the font) to place on your gift table! That way you get everything !!

    Forgot to mention, I did a roaring twenties/ vintage glam theme so I have a ton of research on the subject if you want it! Everything from authentic 1920s drinks to an awesome, free Art Deco  font etc!

    Sadly, I agree with this statement (be it family members or strangers who have access to your venue).  Boxes tend to be more secure… altho you still may have to designate someone to watch it.  Easiest way to do that is to have someone man the table where it sits and put the Guest Book there as well.  They are “covering” as encouraging folks to remember to sign, but all the while keeping a watch on the Best Wishes / Card Box too.

    Hope this helps,
