@gogogiraffes:  Carry the bottom of your dress as much as possible, maybe even put a nice white sheet under where you take photos if your photographer wants to do some head shots. Also, check out how fast your dry cleaner’s could have it ready by if you needed an emergency cleaning session.

I had AA Snow White, so similar style, and I just carried what I could of it when I walked, there was a loop under the train that I held on to while walking.  We took pictures beforehand in the dirt and on trails in the gardens and when I got back before the ceremony I had my mom pick twigs and leaves out of the bottom.  But honestly the bottom of the dress gets so dirty throughout the day that I didn’t really worry much about it.

Ask your BMs to help carry the bottom of the dress! And I second the other poster who said that if you’re going to sit down, put a sheet down first.

@gogogiraffes:  I can understand how you’d be worried about it. Just carry it as much as possible and have set gently on the dirt. You may even consider having a sheet hidden under the dress for full body shots so the dress isn’t actually touching the ground directly. But even though it’s dirt, I don’t think it’ll be that noticeable if it gets a little dirt on it. You’d probably have to be standing right by the edge to notice. Don’t stress too much about it. Given how much you’re thinking about it, I’m sure you’ll take great care of your dress and it’ll stay beautiful. Otherwise, those Tide pens always do come in handy 😉 Just remember, it’s your photos. Have fun!!
