I’ve tried every possible veil known to man (slight exaggeration) and I just don’t like any with my dress. I think I’ve decided that I want to wear a blingy barrette in my hair, but no veil. Can I see some pics of no veil brides please??? 🙂

I didn’t wear a veil, just a flower clip in my hair. I’m glad I skipped the veil!

I opted for flowers in my hair.

I bought a blusher from David’s and decided at the last minute to flip in upside down bc it was really bugging me hanging in my face.

@mrsrowe: You are adorable!

I tried on veils but I felt like they competed with the back of my dress, so I made a silk and pearl flower comb and I loved the way it looks, and there was no veil whipping around in my face in the wind during my outside wedding.

@Annabelle86: Same dress here, and I agree- that dress has such a killer back, I can’t imagine a veil covering it up!! 🙂 I’m opting for some sort of flower, I’m just not 100% settled yet.

Are more recent no-veil brides? Would love to see some for inspiration, and to see how you guys accessorized your hair instead.

I wore sparkly hair pins. I think if i had to do it over i would have worn a veil just at the back of my head. At the least for the ceremony. Some say they just dont feel like a bride without it. I still felt like a bride though :)…It rained all day that day and it would have probably hid my fallen curls…lol

I wore an off shoulder bolero with a button back that I absolutely loved so I had an updo to make sure I showcased the back for all the photos & etc and only wore a veil for the ceremony…
The before photos:
I wore the veil for traditions sake and took it off after but I really didn’t want one either lol
