My wedding is this Friday and we will only be having hors d’oeuvres. I’m going to subscribe to this thread and post photos when I’m all settled after the honeymoon 🙂

I’m also doing a weekday afternoon wedding with just desserts and other munchies. I’m not anticipating any problems, but I’ll let you know in 10 days how it went and will try to get some photos.

We had a very casual early afternoon wedding, also with no dancing or alcohol.

Here is an idea of what we had – FYI I didn’t remember this, but I had a Word document saved! haha.

Fruit Trays with yogurt dip

Cheese Trays

Sandwiches: Cucumber, BLT, Turkey & Cheese, Pimento Cheese

Canapés: Chicken Salad, Shrimp Chirizo, the pepper one

Desserts: Chocolate Chip Cookies, Brownies, Tiramisu Bites, Apple Tarts

Our centerpieces were also edible, and they contained: “Reasey Pizza,” Cheesecake Brownie bites, roasted pecans and cinnamon tortillas.

We had sweet tea, lemonade, and water on a few different drink stations, also pictured.

Our wedding cake was white chocolate deliciousness and the groom’s cake was key lime. We also had a small diabetic-friendly sugar-free cake because several of our guests were/are diabetic.

We seemed to have plenty of food. We had around 85 guests attend (planned for food for 100, though). We had leftovers to the point where Darling Husband and I took plates with us when we left, haha. And plenty of left over cake, luckily!

I hope you don’t mind me blowing up your thread with pictures, but I’m trying to be thorough as I wish someone would have been able to do the same for me! 🙂

Wedding Cake:

DH’s Groom’s Cake:

Bottom part of the centerpieces (cinnamon tortillas)

Top part of centerpieces (reasey pizza and brownie bites, also roasted pecans)

Here are some of the actual hors d’oeuvres that were served:

Drink Stations – or how they were set-up, basically.

See, we had plenty of food. 🙂 I promise I didn’t eat all of that, that was also DH’s. My sister was eating cake, yumm.

Our wedding was a roving dinner.. it was 14 mini courses all passed around like at cocktsail hour. Some of the dishes I remember were salt and pepper squid, single lamb cutlets, noodle boxes and we also had a laska bar.
