I have been looking at pictures on my computer and came across a picture I have with JACK BLACK! The only celebrity I have ever met!
Two months ago he came to Bend, Oregon to do a concert, and he stayed at the hotel my SO was working at. So he came down to the restaraunt, ate dinner, had (LOTS) of drinks (that’s why he looks slightly buzzed here lol) and it was a fun time! We got a picture together!
So do YOU bees have any pictures with a celebrity?? Please post with story behind it! Have fun ladies!

Working in Napa Valley at a high-end restaurant and then at an event center I had the privilege of meeting many a famous person but we were never allowed to take photos. 🙁

Like @Treejewel19 I’ve met a lot of celebrities through my work but taking photos with them wasn’t appropriate.

So sad! But that’s understandable, they love their privacy!

@ScaryAri924: For me it wasn’t about privacy (as I met them in a very public capacity) but about professionalism. They were more politicians, royalty, sportspeople and business leaders than Hollywood stars (although there were a few of those).

@ScaryAri924: They even closely guarded their signatures. When Jesse James and Sandra Bullock came in and I was their server they had someone else sign for the check…guess they didn’t want me hoarding their autographs. Robert Redford, Jason Priestly and Zoe Saldana always paid cash, also to prevent autographs I’m guessing.

@ScaryAri924: Cool! I don’t have any photos but my sister text me through a photo with Jack Black a few years ago at like 3am in the morning!
He was in NZ filming King Kong and she spotted him and she said he was lovely and walked down the street with his arm around her, she was pretty drunk and said, I have to text a photo of you to my sister who loves you, so he let her. Aparently some lady who was with him gently said he had to go but my sis said he was so nice to her.
I have seen numerous interviews with celebrities in NZ and they all say they love coming here because they eithor don’t get recognised or if they do, they are generally left along. Well apart from my sister! 🙂
@Treejewel19: Thats interesting – never thought about that before!

@Treejewel19: ROBERT REDFORD?!?!?! droooool. so jealous 😉
I was in an elevator with Bon Jovi at Caesar’s Palace in Tahoe. He was playing a concert there. I thought he was ugly, but I was only a little girl. hahah! My sister and I were too shy to ask for an autograph.

Like PPs I have met people through work and it wasn’t appropriate. BUT I did have my photo taken with Tim Minchin.

A few years ago I went to Sydney with my Mum the week after I finished high school, and we saw Natalie Gauci and Matt Corby(the winner and runner up of Australian Idol 2007) on the opera house steps and she told me to go ask them for a photo but I was too shy!

I have a picture of myself with Tony Bennett, but there’s no way I’m posting it here because in the photo I have such a goofy expression on my face.
I also have autographs from Paul McCartney, Audrey Hepburn, Gloria Steinem, Joan Rivers, Don Henley and Kathie Lee Gifford.
Ray Bradbury, the late science fiction writer, also drew a cartoon thank you note to me that I have framed.

I think I have a picture with Boyd Tinsley from DMB on my computer somewhere. In this town, that’s not such a big deal, though. 🙂
My husband is a radio host and we have pictures from meet and greets, too. I think my one with the guys from Widespread Panic is my fav. 🙂

Jack Black is an awesome dude! My MOH’s brother is the bassist of Tenacious D. He and Kyle are some seriously awesome dudes.
I met Carmen Electra last year at an event I was working. She was really quiet but really sweet. She’s the tiniest person I’ve ever met in my life. (super skinny, really short)
