- Wedding: September 2011
We are taking pictures before the wedding. We will do the private first look, and then more formal shots of the bridal party (including all members…officiant, ushers, flower girls, musician), family shots with parents and grandparents, and more formal bride/groom.
We are also taking pictures after the ceremony which I want to be more informal/artistic, and weather permitting they will be outdoor shots taking advantage of the historical setting (not that we won’t do some formals outside before as well).
Question: Who needs to stick around for shots after the wedding? My first thought was just the immediate bridal party (Bride, Groom, BM’s, and GM’s), but then thought maybe the flower girls, and maybe the SO’s of my sister and sister-in-law (my BM’s) in case they want a shot together on the gazebo or something. We only have an hour after…should I keep it simple and just do immediate bridal party so that Fiance and I can get all the shots we are hoping for together? Hopefully we can do some formal shots outdoors before, so then I won’t have to worry so much about everyone being there after.
Anyone that did before and after pics, what did you do?
