I agree with the PPs – ignore her.  She doesn’t have a leg to stand on to try to make any claims or demands on you and there is no need for you to show her proof of anything.  Don’t waste your time catering to her.

Uh she left her dog in your care.

You don’t have to prove shit to her.

The money is considered Child Support/Pup Support REGARDLESS OF WHERE IT WENT. PERIOD.

I wouldn’t scramble around for this girl. You owe no sort of explanation whatsoever.

She sounds like she is trying to get you to pay her back and that’s bullsh*t. I seriously would wash my hands of this girl if she can’t trust you as a friend to be honest with her than she isn’t being honest with you. She sounds quite shady.

What EXACTLY doe she THINK the money went to?  Bonbons and booze?  All those times you messaged her saying the dog was sick and needed to see a vet…she just assumed that was your cover story to wring more money from her?  Some people.  She needs to GROW UP.

@canthugallcats: I’m so sorry to hear she said that after ducking out on everything already!

@canthugallcats: Everyone wants them when they’re little, cute and healthy. Older, sickly, or any kind of behavioral problem, and you get ignored, abandoned, or put down. Most people can’t be bothered to put in the effort for an animal who’s seen better days if they don’t already have some sort of attachment to it. There is a very special place in my heart for the few people who will make that effort.

I become more and more angry every day that I’m stuck in a building that doesn’t allow pets…I keep torturing myself looking at all the sweet furballs that need homes on my local SPCA’s website and wishing I could adopt even one of them.

Exactly! And what happens if the puppies get sick?  Or need spaying/neutering?  And puppies need shots.  Are they willing to shell out the bucks?
