I have crossed most of the big stuff off of the list for our wedding here in Chicago next September, but I have a question regarding dessert.
We are planning on having a very small cake to cut which we need to find a baker for, but the focal point for dessert will be a “pie buffet” featuring all different types of pies, whipped cream and ice cream for a la mode 🙂
Our caterer says that they can do the pies, but not the cake– so I thought it might be more cost effective to have one baker do both the cake and the pies.
Has anyone found a bakery that will do this?
