@allihappy: Out of curiosity how big are those?  I saw a band like that from zales and was drooling over it but I didn’t want to spent 800 bucks or whatever it was.

Wow, I didn’t know pink diamonds were so expensive! Anything that is rare in nature will be more valuable, makes sense. How about some nice pink moissanites stones? Have you considered?

Here are some options from moissaniteco.com

I ended up with a pink sapphire and i wouldnt trade it for the world! Its about 1ct with super pale aquamarine stones on the side and diamond accent stones. I also wear alot of black and pink/purple so having it match my personal style was no issue.

EDIT: Oh nvm I see you have posted a pic lol. Still wouldn’t mind knowing the name of the store though 🙂

@MeelaMay:  Sorry I only saw this reply now. I didn’t buy it from a store, I bought it from a friend who wanted a bigger one.

I originally got engaged with a diamond ring, but since have received a morganite ring set in rose gold and a pink sapphire ring with 2 white sapphire side stones set in white gold both gifts from my husband. I hardly ever wear my diamonds but alternate between the morganite and sapphire. Too girly?! I hope not because I’m in my 40’s and I’ve always loved pink gemstones.

A friend of mine just got engaged and she absolutely loved the look of a pink diamond. He choose a halo style ring with a 2ct fancy pink center and white stones surrounding. It look amazing. He went with Platinum as the white of the Platinum made the pink stone pop! I should add that he defintely could not affored a mined pink diamond that size (prices are insane), so he opted for a Quorri fancy pink simulant. The cut and color is beautiful. You would never know! He was happy to go with the Platinum as he originally wanted Rose gold, but I think it would take away from the pink color. After seeing his ring, my finace is considering a pink pendant. Fancy colors are very eye catching.

Sorry, I’m super super late to the party here and I’m sure you’ve selected a ring already…but why not consider a color enhanced pink diamond, if that’s what you really want?  Yes, natural pink diamonds are INSANELY expensive, but color enhanced pink diamonds are carried at most major jewellry chains and are FAR more affordable, and they look just as nice!

Here is mine I have natural pink sapphire set in white gold. For the setting and the stone we came out 200 dollars under the budget! Super excited about that.  Sorry for chiming in late and the large picture!  I hope it helps out if your still looking!

I only think it is icky when the stone’s color is BUBBLEGUM or HOT PINK. That to me looks like one of those kid rings you get from the arcade.

Softer pink stones are really pretty and classy. i especially like them with pave diamonds. So girly and pretty

This is is my grandmother’s ring, we just replaced the diamonds on the actual ring with pink sapphires, and made a third band out of the diamonds that came out of the ring. 🙂 I know it’s not pink diamond, but it’s pretty close! I’m in love with my ring!
