I really need your help.
I let my bridesmaids pick out the dress for the wedding. They picked a short cocktail dress, I picked the color pink. It’s like a mauve almost.
I bought everyone shoes because I felt like they already spent enough on the dress. The shoes they wanted were closed toe heel. We discussed it and everyone agreed to black (because they can wear it anywhere else afterwards). But not questions are coming up about how it will look with the pink dress.
I’m a bit bumbed because the questions were not discussed before I got them the shoes. But now i’m a bit worries and looking for solutions to fix the problem.
Maybe a headband (they all have short hair)?
Any suggestions or pictures would be amazing!!

My mother’s dress is pink, and she’ll be wearing black shoes — but her dress has a black sash that ties this look together.
Are you and your girls opposed to metallic shoes? A silver or gold color would work well with the dresses, and would be rewearable after the wedding (maybe not as much as a black shoe would be, but still, you could get use out of them!). We’re doing black dresses, but silver strappy sandals — and I love that look!

Thank you for that. Exacly what I was thinking a sash or something like a headband.
I can not buy another pair of shoes for them at the moment.
Maybe a black necklace? I’m really not sure.

I just wore a pink dress with black patent leather heels with a black chunky necklace this past weekend. Some dresses can’t be sashed, and if the girls have hair as dark as mine, a black headband would be moot. Try some jewelry!

I think it’ll be fine. Black’s a neutral for a reason. And esp. if it’s a darker pink/mauve, don’t stress too much. And besides, no one stares at BM’s feet!

My bm’s are doing black shoes black boleros and there will be black lace on their bouquets. The dress is champagne but I wanted them to be able to re wear the shoes since I can’t afford to buy them I thought they might as well like them!
