Does anybody have a peach/pink solitaire engagement?? Eg morganite/sapphire/pink diamond?? Most I see are set in rose gold which is stunning but I think over time I would regret rose gold as I’m really a white gold kinda girl. Pic would be great 😊

In my imagination this was my dream ring too. But sadly the pink stones in white gold didn’t appeal to me the way I thought they would 🙁

This is not my e ring but this is my promise ring. It’s a pink tourmaline center stone ring from David yurman. The thing with pink stones though, they are usually set in yellow gold or rose gold because they bring the color out in the stones. You will hardly see pink stones set in white gold or platinum because it flushed the color out. Mine is set in yellow gold.

The thing with pink stones is that there’s a range of pink, if you’re getting a color saturated stone then white gold really sets it off because of the contrast but if you’re going for something like morganite (or softer, pastel colored stones) then white gold may wash the color out whereas rose gold gives the stone a bit more warmth.
^ More examples! 🙂

I have a morganite set in platinum. I perfer the white gold/platinum with the pink stone, it makes the pink look cooler.

I have a morganite in white gold. At first I wanted rose gold but I changed my mind. I love my ring.
