So someone told me to write a review about an Android app I recently started using. I’m not actually trying to conceive, I actually just use it to track my period, but when she told me it might be useful for you bees out there TTC, I figured I’d share!
It’s called Pink Pad, and there is a free version and a paid version (I’m assuming the free version probably has less features, but it works fine for me…so that’s what I use). It more or less lets you track your period by giving you a calendar and allowing you to put in your symptoms (some of which include tender breasts, irritability, nausea, etc etc) and whether or not you’ve got light/moderate/heavy spotting or flow.
Another interesting feature is the fact that it shows your fertile days, based on your time of the month. I’m not TTC, as I said, but thought it was a neat feature that I’ll definitely be checking out further when I get to the point of trying for kids with my Fiance.
If you ladies haven’t heard about it, might be worth checking out. In my case, I’ve always had irregular periods and a friend of mine recommended that I have a look-see; it’s been really helpful in getting to know my own body’s pattern (even though it’s not the standard 30-day pattern, I have noticed that I do have one).
Hope this helped someone out, somewhere!
