I need some helper bees…as described in my post I found pink shoes (<font size="2" color="#81a026">http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/i-found-pink-shoes</font>) my Fiance and I have decided on pink being our main wedding color. I am not the pink girly-girl type but don’t mind the pink since we are going to use it to honor the women in our family that are breast cancer survivors.
Here’s my dilemma – I don’t want to overdue it with the pink ribbons – I am not hosting a fundraiser but instead am getting married and honoring special women in our lives. I have the pink shoes – I have the pink favors which a portion of the proceeds go to the Young Survival Coalition, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the unique issues and concerns that are important to young women with breast cancer. And, I bought these really cute small pink rhinestone ribbon charms to attach to the bow of the fan wedding program (attempting to do my 1st wedding DIY project later this year). Our online wedding registry also donates a percentage of the total online gifts bought to the Susan G Komen foundation.
So – should I stop with the pink ribbons now???
I would like to inform guests of the charities we’re supporting but am unsure how to do it – can anyone help?
