My goodness this thread just couldn’t be any better! I love all the pink rings posted. 💕
This is my Great-Grandmother’s opal with pink diamonds.
Mine isn’t set yet, it’s about a 1/5 ct. It is clarity enhanced but not color enhanced (so, totally natural color). I set her next to a cz so you can see the color. My camera makes her look a bit gold, but she’s a soft soft pink.
Ukulele4You : Wow! Those are REALLY pink diamonds! How cool.
20sparklingyears : ooh, what are you planning to set her in? That’s a respectable size for a pink diamond, mine’s much smaller (1/8 ct).
This is a vendor pic, it’s been set already and is on its way to me! I’m really really excited, having never seen a pink diamond in person before. I’ll be back with more photos once it’s here!
patchy : Oh your stone is lovely – am I seeing a heart shape?
I think I’ve found a sweet ring, a pre-loved, that has a center stone (that’s where the pink would go), then a little one-pointer above and to the right of it. I have one child, and she has (and only will have) one child so I think that would be kind of sweet. The Mom and the kid. I want to have white diamonds somehow because the stone is such a soft pink, that without the contrast, you can’t tell.
My ring with pink sapphire side stones. I really want to get an anniversay band with pink sapphires. I just love pink!
20sparklingyears : that sounds lovely! Any pics of this setting? And yep you’re right, that’s a heart. The design is also surrounded by white diamonds, like what you were considering. Let me fetch a pic from the very accommodating vendor…
I hope you share your finished project here too! Soft pink is beautiful. May I inquire where you got your pink? Mine is from Asteria diamonds, first time dealing with them but pretty satisfied with their service so far!
patchy : Oh that is going to be so so pretty! I got mine from superlight diamonds (sells clarity enhanced diamonds, all colors). I was quite delighted to find that it was not color enhanced, if I understand correctly, most colored diamonds on the market are, so I was tickled it was all natural.
I would show you the ring, but it’s on ebay and I’ve heard of people buying something that someone here showed, so I’m going to keep it a secret. Can’t afford it yet, so I’m hoping it won’t sell. I’m doing some redecorating in the house so I’m trying to only put money towards that right now. If it does sell, I may do a small halo like you.
I love this thread! Pink is my one of my favourite colours! Here is my contribution: .65 carat genuine pink sapphire in a 1940s vintage setting! It’s an anniversary ring 🙂
I bought a lab ruby ring for fun and it’s much pinker than I thought it would be, much more than my natural rubies. It is very fun though. It reminds me of Snow White, who is a bit of a style icon of mine!
Oh man are all these beautiful! If I could go back a year ago, I would have told Fiance I wanted a pink sapphire with a rose gold band !
