Can anyone send me an invite too please?

I have been waiting for over 3 weeks and I’m tired of waiting! I think they are punishing me.

I deleted my account because I really hated the way it made me link it to facebook and how I was instantly linked to a bunch of people, but now I understand it better and want to join up again.

Let me know if you can help and I’ll PM my email address.

Since we’re on this topic, someone sent me an invitation and I joined but I have no idea what I’m supposed to do!  Could someone please explain it to me? πŸ™‚

@MrsCoachBtoBee: Easy – its basically just a virtual pinboard so that you can save images and ideas you find online for easy access later – you can either browse the site and repin that way or browse the web and pin things you come across yourself.

to repin from the site click you can either 1)scroll over the image and the repin button pops up or 2) click into the image and you will find the repin button there as well. Pin to any board you like – wedding, DIY, Fashion (you can make as many boards you want and name them anything you want.

To pin from other websites you will want to copy the URL and at the top of the pinterest page is an ADD button – you want to click that then click add pin then you can paste the URL in there and it should pull up your page/pictures. (i know you can dowload a pin it button to your webpage toolbar – i think – but i dont do it that way)

be sure to follow whoever you want so you can get even more ideas!

@MrsCoachBtoBee:

You can also share pins with your friends.

Let’s assume you and your BM’s all have a Pinterest account, and if one of your girls sees a great picture on a website, she doesn’t have to forward you the link or save the photo on her computer, but she can pin it and adress it to you by using the so-called “@mentions” function and it will automatically appear on your site and i think you will be notified that someone pinned a picture for you.

You could also create a shared account that all your BM’s or family or whoever can access and where everyone can pin their ideas to the boards.

I think it is an awesome tool to collect ideas sorted by topics, especially when planning a wedding or any other event, and it is so much easier than saving pictures to your computer, because Pinterest automatically saves the link to the website where you found the photo
