    I have a confession…

I have no clue how to use Pinterest… or what it even is! Embarassed

If you can do wedding-related stuff with it, though, I’m intrigued to find out… Wink

I chose the fourth option although I don’t pin mainly because I can’t figure out how to use Pinterest. I do have an account, though. Haha. I still probably wouldn’t pin anything because people ask me if I am engaged/when I am getting engaged enough…without any reason as it is.  Getting another Pinterest would not solve my original problem of not knowing how to use it. lol. I’m Pinterest challenged!

I just keep a file of pics I like.  I go through it periodically to weed stuff out.  I enjoy looking at my little collection.

@tenacity:  Haha, I’m totally Pinterest challenged too! I also an un-engaged and keep a file of pictures I like, and really like going through it. But I have a Pinterest, don’t get it at all, and probably won’t use it once I’m engaged! Just because I don’t get the point…it’s for a lot of people, but I guess just not me.

And I know a lot of single girls–girls without significant others at all–who have “My Future Wedding” categories on Pinterest. I’ve never heard of a secret account, but hey, that could work too. We all should be able to dream and not be criticized for it πŸ˜‰ (though I’m sure plenty of girls are like you and would support you!)

lol, I’m an extreme plan aheader, so I’ve done it. Not on pinterest, I dont have an account there, but I’ll save tons of pictures and links on my guest account on the computer. When I’m not using it I turn it off. XD

Before it was wedding stuff, now I’m on to house stuff and baby stuff. If I accidentally get preggers, I’m all set when it comes to knowing what to buy. XD

Before we were engaged, I had a Pinterest board called “future wedding”– I’ve actually seen lots of people who aren’t engaged have wedding boards with the words future/someday/dream/etc.

Now that we’re engaged I dropped the future from the title!  Cool

I have a pinterest account but haven’t pinned anything wedding related. I use One-Note (came with my Microsoft office suite) and share it with the mister. I’m trying to keep my notes in one place. Well, trying since I just started a lover.ly account. lol

I have a secret account under my teddy bear’s name. Yes, I said teddy bear.

I haven’t announced the engagement to anyone but very close friends and family and I’m afraid that my facebook account will somehow accidently link to my pinterest account. I should just get rid of my facebook account.

@NurseMarriedToAFarmer:  Me too! I have a board with cute pregnancy announcement ideas and family picture ideas…. I have a board with nursery ideas… They’re titled “One Day…” …Recently I had a friend announce that they were pregnant… This kicked up my baby fever, so I started looking up TONS of nursery ideas… I don’t post my pins on Facebook (some of my friends do, but I just find in unnecessary). Anyways, so here was happily pinning tons of nursery ideas… Then a friend messaged me on Facebook, asking if I was pregnant! Haha πŸ™‚ I explained that I wasn’t, but then I decided I better cut back on nursery pinning haha πŸ™‚

I dont have a pintrest account (secret or otherwise) but I do have a (sorta) secret tumblr account… Mostly filled with cake/dress/hair ideas.

Also need to congratulate this topic for being the one to make me stop lurking and actually get an account πŸ™‚

I do this! The board is on my main account but my boyfriend does not look at pintrest.  The only thing it that when I first started, pinterest was making updates about the things I posted on my board onto facebook, I was soooo embarrassed and worried he or one of his friends had seen it.

I don’t care if anyone else sees it though because its ok for a girl to dream about that day. And also my mom knows about it so if one day he needs clues about the style of ring I want my mom can show him haha.

Haha that is a pretty good idea!  I have a “someday” baby board (even though we aren’t even TTC yet), that I’m kind of embarassed to pin to!  1. I don’t want people to get any suspicions that I am pregnant/trying to get pregnant (just none of their business, that’s all), and 2. I don’t want people to know how badly I have baby fever, LOL.  So I try to limit how many baby things I pin.

However, like AirForceWife78 I also have friends that aren’t even in relationships that pin tons of wedding stuff!  I do notice when they pin it…but I don’t judge them for it. πŸ™‚

Pinterest wasn’t around before I got engaged, but if it was I would have made a second account to pin to also πŸ™‚

I have had a “Future = Wedding” board for awhile.  It has some ideas in it.   But i am trying to set up a secret account and transfer them all over there.

    Why now?

Because an engagement is around the corner and i dont want people knowong what im planning or stealing anything. Lol.  But i dont mind people having wedding boards who arent engaged yet.
