Does your SO/Hubby have Pissy Man Syndrome ever?
Legit my Fiance was not talking to me last night. No reason. I asked what the issue was and he said he was just tired.
He stole the TV from me so i went upstairs to bed and was watching stuff on the computer and painting my toe nails with the dog. 20 minutes later he comes upstairs, has a hissy fit that the dog is in bed and i’m making noise so he cant sleep. I told him to go sleep in the spare bedroom if he was going to have a fit because it was 8:30pm, its not like it was the middle of the night and i was keeping him up. This morning he didn’t speak to me. I’m just ignoring it.
Honestly he does this once a month. He gets in his tired grumpy pants mood and is all pissy so i have to avoid him. Its totally Pissy Man Syndrome. Does your man have it too???

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who has to deal with this. SO gets like this sometimes. So I’ve learned if I notice him being a little grumpier than normal to just leave him alone. He eventually calms down and gets in a better mood.

My FH doesn’t do mornings so well. Or missing meals. Or having meals later than the time his stomach says he should have them. Or large crowds of people in, say, shopping centres.
He has general stressy times – near deadlines, or when he’s not well – but they’re not normally all day things, or ‘monthly’ things.

@chronicwhimsy: Ha i may have exageratted with once a month. But once a month works with my PMS claim.

My husband does this too! I also work with all guys and they totally do the same thing. I think it’s funny. It makes me feel a little better about being a crazy person once a month!

haha i’ve never heard it called that before, i love it! my fiance gets like that too sometimes for no reason. his dad does it too though, and apparently his grandpa was the same way. their last name is brown, so whenever they get like that, me and his mom and his sister joke that they are just having a “brownie.”

Sunshine and sparkles… hahahaha. That is DEFINITELY not my FI!!
Pissy Man Syndome! I love it! He also craves sweets around my time of the month. He tends to get cranky around then too. I always tell him he’s on my schedule.

My fiancee becomes the crankiest babypants ever if he is hungry.

PMS…love it! Yes he does and boy it’s like his head comes off and spins some days. When he’s over-tired, hungry, stressed, in a big crowd and around his extended family too long! I’ve gotten smart enough that I can anticipate when these swings are going to happen and I leave or ignore him. I call him Sponge-Doug cranky pants. He hates it but his boys get a kick out of it 😉
