(Closed) Pittsburgh bridal shops where I’ll actually be able to afford the dress…?

I’ve been to The Winner too, and they have a big selection of gowns.  But I thought I’d add another location to look in… One of my best friends went gown searching in Butler and we went to this beautiful little shop that only does wedding gowns and wedding party dresses.  (I’m not sure of the name, but if you looked online, I don’t think it would be difficult to find in the Butler yellow pages.)  I believe that the shop is open by appointment only, but the gowns aren’t overly pricy.  The owner was a lovely woman and there was a good selection of styles and sizes.  My friend was a plus size and I remember that she was able to try on gowns… and see a wide variety of styles there!  My friend didn’t buy the gown she loved there, because she found the ONE elsewhere, but I wouldn’t recommend that shop… This little shop in Butler just was great!

I got my dress from the Exquisite Bride in Murrysville. They have a great selection and most of the dresses were around $1000.

I got my wedding dress free (blogging for a bridal gown company), so I didn’t really have to worry about this. But I got the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from CK Bridal and loved them. They carry some nice Maggie dresses and depending on the dress could be within your price range.

I also looked at a lot of Mori Lee dresses, because I heard some of them were under $1,000. They have locations on their website.

Last, I also LOVED Bridal Beginning. I got my wedding shoes there and all the brides looked gorgeous in the gowns they were trying on. They seem to carry a lot of different designers…high end and medium range. All stunning.

I’d definitely recommend David’s Bridal. I went to the one in Robinson and there’s a very wide selection of dresses there within your price range. I also thought the people there were helpful and nice. If you want an alternative, I’ve heard MB Bridal in Greensburg is really good.
